Ryouga Hibiki

His Name::

The stolid Ryouga has a great deal of personality to his name. A mildly common name, Takahashi deicides to write it rather differently than normal. His two syllable name is considered somewhat nice, pleasant name that should roll off the tounge. Another joke on his personality perhaps?
Ryo--GOOD::Ga-FANG
Pronounced- Rioh-ga
His last name is rather common as well, and yet unique at the same time. Names in Japanese almost always have four syllables. Hibiki is considered chique` to others. The meaning of the symbols must be a joke on how his entire family seems to wander off and eventuall come back.

GeneralAppearance

Ryouga's visage is a rough one, showing his obvious travel experience. He doesn't really show too much effort in keeping his appearance. His ragged black hair is kept out of his eyes with his leopard bandanna. His eyes are hazel-brown and stands about 5'8" with a strong build. His dress, after junior high, tended towards Chinese like Ranma. He prefers yellow and black colours, much like his bandana. If its winter, he wears a yellow tunic with tight sleeve collars, and if its summer he wears a sleeveless black top. His pants dark black and the legs are bound like TaBi boot strings, with yellow socks and heavy boat shoes. He can almost always be seen carrying his massive trail pack and his traditional umbrella(made of not so traditional materials).

Beef with Ranma

He, like so many other have a problem with Ranma, his lifestyle, or just his existance in general. Ranma has been the source of many practical jokes to Ryoga and has been made fun of by ranma since junior high. When Ranma's father held down in one place before going to China, it was at Ryoga's Junior high where he was top dog. Until Ranma came. After Ranma went to his school for less than a month, he bested Ryouga in everything there was a fight for, which was almost everything in an all boys junior high.

"Saotome!! Today is the day I break you!!"

With that, our clueless compadre` set out to meet Ranma at the agreed place to fight for one last time. Ranma awaited calmly at the east...while Ryouga hotfooted it. South. And wasn't heard from for 4 days. Ranma decided he didn't feel like waiting another day and left the day before. Ryouga couldn't leave well enough alone and booked it after Ranma.

Straight to mainland China. Quing Hei province. Jyu Sen Kyo.

After that, Ranma enjoyed agitating Ryoga for the fun of it. There was his fiancee` stint, the Yoiko trouble, the fight in the girls locker room, Ranma's schoolgirl days, Ranma's mirror twin kissing Ryouga... Needless to say, Ryouga has alot to be mad about.
