Summary
This study has been carried out to provide a market context for Blueprint Midtown, a clear statement by the people and communities of Midtown Atlanta about how they wish to see their neighborhood develop over the coming decades.
  This study concentrates on the real estate development markets for retailing, office and residential accommodation. It also, however, comments on streetscapes, urban cohension, open spaces, personal safety and security.
  The study combines qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques. The team interviewed 45 developers, experts and end-users in an effort to understand better the Midtown real estate market. A focus group of local residents was also formed and asked to comment on the positive and negative aspects of living and workign in Midtown.
  The quantitative component of this study was provided by the database of the leading real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield of Georgia and the specialist real estate company, Apartment Realty Advisors. Both firms are active throughout the Atlanta region as well as Midtown. Cushman & Wakefield is located in the heart of Midtown and acts for and advises many of Midtown's leading organizations.
