Wendy Darling  Originally from Massachusetts, Wendy has lived in Atlanta for nearly two years. She currently lives at Five Points in Downtown Atlanta. The loves the city of Atlanta and it is out of this love (and an interest in urban planning) that she came to work for the Alliance. This web site is not the only site Wendy has ever created or maintained pro bono. Beginning in August of 1997, she took on the role of volunteer webmaster for YouthPride Atlanta, an up-and-coming organization for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender youth. YouthPride's web site has been a vital tool as the organization reaches out to teenagers, young adults, and potential donors and volunteers. Outside of these web sites and the one she maintains and creates as part of her full-time job, Wendy oversees a large personal web site called The Thrift Shop. This site was originally developed as part of a web design course she took at the University of Georgia's Dowden Center for New Media Studies.
